We are happy to pass on our knowledge nationally and internationally. We give various lectures and seminars to inform governments, distributors and customers about animal health and food safety.

Advisory role with seminars and lectures

With the knowledge that we have within the Animal Health Group, we are happy to advise companies within the poultry sector. We also like to give lectures and seminars to governments to inform them about the poultry sector and its developments. For example, we give lectures about the intestinal health of poultry, the animal welfare of poultry and about the legislation that the government applies in the Netherlands.

Research animal health at different levels

Because we carry out more than 60,000 autopsies every year, we continue to learn more every year. The all-round research that we conduct, both in the bacteriological, serological and histological field, give us the expertise to identify trends in the field of animal health and animal welfare. In collaboration with our Central Laboratory for Poultry, we increase our knowledge every day. You can therefore always call on us if you have any questions about the condition of your poultry or rabbits.

Monitor poultry food safety

Within the poultry sector, there is always a lot of attention for salmonella. How do I deal with this and how do I rule out salmonella? First of all, it is important to carry out preventive tests to prevent the salmonella bacteria. Avecur helps you draw up a salmonella prevention plan. In the event of salmonella, we will provide an action plan with expert research. We want to monitor food safety in the poultry sector and are happy to help you with your salmonella issues.
